What a DELICIOUS breath of fresh air!
British actor Tom Hardy, who recently starred in Inception and happens to be engaged to a woman, recently talked about the fluidity of sexuality and admitted to having a variety of flings with men!
He reveals:
“Of course I have. I’m an actor for fuck’s sake. I’ve played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now that I’m in my thirties, it doesn’t do it for me. I’m done experimenting but there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine. A lot of people say I seem masculine, but I don’t feel it. I feel intrinsically feminine. I’d love to be one of the boys but I always felt a bit on the outside. Maybe my masculine qualities come from overcompensating because I’m not one of the boys.”
We think that there’s nothing sexier than a man who can openly embrace the feminine qualities that most have, but are too ashamed to own up to!
We wish other actors would be this candid and comfortable talking about this subject matter!
It’s definitely more common than what anyone – at least in the USA – is willing to admit, which we find so unfortunate – especially for all the confused young men who don’t know how to make sense of what they’re feeling and are too ashamed to discuss it.
Amazing, Tom!

HTML 5 is completely ready for worldwide implementation. I know, some developers might not agree, but how else could you play a game of Pac-Man coded in the stuff? Pac-Man, Quake, what else is there? [Pac-Man via HackerNews via webmonkey] More »
One of the most hackable applications on a Mac computer is probably iTunes. This program is no longer just a music jukebox, it’s a multimedia player that includes not only song and movie files, but Apple mobile apps, PDFs, audio books and e-books, and several powerful file management features such as smart folders.
If all of this is not too overwhelming for you, you can add even more functionality to the program using what is called an AppleScript, a cool scripting language that can automate programs on your Mac.
Now if you’re thinking, “I don’t have the time or the inclination to learn a scripting language”, well, don’t worry, Doug’s AppleScripts for iTunes contains over 400 ready-made iTunes AppleScripts that can be downloaded for free. In addition, with the ability to easily add keyboard shortcuts to any program on your Mac, you will see that using iTunes AppleScripts can be even more powerful.
So if you have a little time, let’s explore iTunes AppleScripts. This tutorial will show you how to build a really cool AppleScript script that will play a specified playlist using a keyboard shortcut.
With this AppleScript script, you can use a keyboard shortcut to play a specified playlist without having to navigate to the playlist itself and click on it.
tell application “iTunes”
tell (some track of playlist “Favorite Jazz”) to play
end tell

Notice above that I have a keyboard shortcut assigned to my script. Here’s how you add that. Open Preferences and then click on Keyboard under Hardware.

Now you’re set. When you navigate to iTunes and type your keyboard shortcut, your specified playlist will play.
You can also use an application launcher like Quicksilver, Alfred, or Butler to activate iTunes scripts from within any application.
Let us know if this tutorial works out for you (or not). If you want to add more iTunes AppleScripts, check out Doug’s AppleScript site. Also check out this MUO article for other ways to improve your iTunes experience and for even more information, check out the MakeUseOf manual on iTunes.

As a matter of fact yes, that is a picture of the GW command center. I can make calls, fax, print, copy, collate AND write Geekologie all from the comfort of my plush shitter. Did I mention I can relieve myself? Because I can do that too. I just have to be careful my unit isn’t caught between the seat and rim because one time it was and I peed all over the floor. Don’t hate the playa hate the smell! IP addresses are supposed to run out next year.
The internet protocol used by the majority of web users, IPv4, provides for about four billion IP addresses — the unique 32-digit number used to identify each computer, website or internet-connected device.
There are currently only 232 million IP addresses left — enough for about 340 days — thanks to the explosion in smartphones and other web-enabled devices.
The solution to the problem is IPv6, which uses a 128-digit address. It would give everyone in the world more than four billion addresses each, but most of the internet industry has so far been reluctant to introduce it.
It would require each device that connects to the internet to be reconfigured or upgraded, with some users even being forced to buy new hardware, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Sure we could do that. Or you could take my advice and, instead of issuing more IP addresses, start issuing PO boxes. BOOM — WHO’S THE INTERNET GENIUS NOW, MR. GORE?!

I really enjoy what have come to be known as single-serving sites. These are sites that do only one specific thing, but the best of them do that thing exceedingly well.
My new favorite site of this kind is Support Details. The URL is super easy to remember (supportdetails.com), and when you pay the site a visit, it lists a bunch of details about your computer that you can include when making a support request for software that you’re having trouble with.
Here's a quick list of the information that Support Details offers: – Operating system – Screen resolution – Web Browser & version – Browser window size – IP address – Color depth – Javascript (enabled or disabled) – Flash version – Cookies (enabled or disabled)
You can export the details as a CSV or PDF file, or you can simply email them to a recipient by using a form that’s right on the site. It’s simple and effective.

While the built-in default is functional, you might be looking for a way to add some sizzle to your Google Chrome new tab page. Look no further than Start!, a recent addition in the Chrome Extensions Gallery.
Your frequently used bookmarks will appear on the right-hand side of the page, while the central portion is reserved for your recent additions and those in the “other” folder. Start! also supports adding an RSS feed to your display (yes, that’s ours in my screenshot!).
The background image is customizable as well, and you can either provide the URL to your favorite image or cycle through the stock options — or clear it if you prefer a blank canvas.
Start! is a very nice extension, but there is one bug I encountered. You’re able to click and drag favicons to reorganize the right-hand panel, though I frequently received an alert that the move failed (even though it didn’t). Sitting on the ‘esc’ key eventually clears all the pop-ups, however, so after your intial setup it’s not likely to cause many issues. I also suspect that developer Ilkka Huotari will fix this in short order…
